RateSweep

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and PowerShare, Inc. ("we", "us") for using the RateSweep app and this website. By using RateSweep, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What RateSweep does

RateSweep reads the storage unit rates and move-in specials that facilities publish on their own public websites, and shows them side by side. It is an information tool. We are not a storage company, we do not rent units, and we are not connected to any facility shown in a report.

2. The information is a snapshot — always confirm it

A report shows what each website displayed at the moment the sweep ran. Prices and specials change often, specials can come with conditions, and a website can be out of date or read incorrectly. Figures such as Best deal's average monthly rent are estimates worked out from what was published.

Always confirm the price, the special and any conditions with the facility before you rent, sign anything or change your own prices. You are responsible for decisions you make using RateSweep.

3. Your account

4. Purchases and subscriptions

5. Fair use

Please do not:

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Ownership

The RateSweep app, name and design belong to PowerShare, Inc. The facility names, prices and specials in a report belong to the businesses that published them; RateSweep shows them as found, for comparison.

7. No warranty

RateSweep is provided "as is". We work hard to read websites accurately and to keep the service running, but we cannot promise that every report is complete, correct or current, that every website can be read, or that the service will never be interrupted.

8. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PowerShare, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example, lost profit or a pricing or rental decision made using a report. Our total liability for any claim about RateSweep is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using RateSweep after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
